What you'll be doing...  

The Manager of Training and Development is responsible for building and leading the organization's learning and development strategy. This role drives employee growth and business performance through a blended learning approach that combines instructor-led training, learning management system (LMS) resources, on-the-job application, and collaboration with business leaders and subject matter experts. 

Partnering closely with leaders across the organization, the Manager assesses development needs, designs and facilitates engaging training programs, and creates learning pathways that support employee success from onboarding through leadership development. This position oversees the LMS, manages learning content and resources, and measures program effectiveness to ensure learning initiatives deliver meaningful business results. 

  • Develop and facilitate leadership training programs for new and experienced leaders, focused on communication, coaching, accountability, and change management.  
  • Deliver engaging instructor-led workshops, cohorts, and development programs that promote practical skill application.  
  • Build and support a network of facilitators and subject matter experts to ensure consistent, high-quality learning experiences.  
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive learning roadmap, including onboarding, leadership development, and professional growth programs.  
  • Develop job aids, standard work, reference materials, and knowledge resources that support employee performance and learning.  
  • Administer and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS), including learning paths, content management, reporting, and engagement.  
  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to create role-based development plans aligned with competencies and performance expectations.  
  • Measure training effectiveness using participation, feedback, performance, and business outcomes; continuously improve programs and learning strategies.  

This role is full-time, on-site in our Seattle office.  

Who You Are...  

  • Educated. Bachelor's degree in business, education, human resources, organizational development, or a related field required. 
  • Experienced. 7+ years in adult learning and development, including design and facilitation of leadership and soft-skills programs. 
  • Technically Savvy. Proven experience using SaaS LMS products; including configuration and administration basics, learning path design, reporting, and governance to support instructor-led and self-paced learning. Experience with Absorb LMS is a plus.  
  • Business Partner. Assess needs with leaders and recommend practical solutions with the ability to turn policies, and leadership standards into clear, teachable behaviors and tools.  
  • Strong Presenter. facilitation presence with credibility in front of first-time leaders and experienced managers; able to teach, coach, and handle real scenarios with confidence. 
  • Curriculum Creator. Create from scratch, pilot quickly, and improve based on feedback and observed outcomes. Proven experience building onboarding programs and blended learning paths that improve ramp time, consistency, and manager readiness.
