Position Overview

The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in delivering an outstanding patient experience. This position supports front desk operations, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient flow in a busy medical office.


Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in patients; manage front desk operations

  • Schedule appointments and coordinate complex calendars

  • Verify insurance and maintain accurate patient records

  • Manage patient flow and support providers and clinical staff

  • Handle medical records and sensitive patient information

  • Provide administrative support as needed

Schedule Requirement: Must be able to work 2 Saturdays per month.


Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required

  • Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred

  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems a plus

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Reliable transportation required
