We are seeking a professional and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The Medical Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while supporting daily front office operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical environment.

Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and demographic details
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical record systems
- Collect co-pays, balances, and other payments as needed
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding office procedures, billing, and appointments
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and other correspondence
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a medical office or receptionist role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and scheduling systems preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
