ProRehab Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is looking for a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team!

Pay: $16/HR

Qualifications

โ€ข High School Diploma or GED

โ€ข Experience in a medical front desk, healthcare reception, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental, or similar clinical office setting preferred but not required.

โ€ข Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic spreadsheets

โ€ข Ability to discuss payments, scheduling expectations, and basic insurance information with professionalism

โ€ข A calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to help the team

Responsibilities

โ€ข Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources

โ€ข Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls

โ€ข Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next steps

โ€ข Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visits

โ€ข Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed

โ€ข Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation
