Job description

R&P is looking for a highly motivated professional to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Digital Transformation Strategist ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment. The Digital Transformation Strategist will support leadership in advancing the enterprise modernization agenda. This role focuses on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, capacity assessment, and the development of roadmaps that align digital initiatives with organizational mission objectives. The strategist will work across teams and leadership to identify transformation opportunities, measure adoption impact, and communicate progress to senior stakeholders.


  • Develop and maintain the digital transformation roadmap in coordination with PAE Maritime leadership.
  • Conduct capability assessments and maturity analysis across enterprise platforms to identify modernization gaps and opportunities.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, program managers, and leadership to align digital initiatives with organizational priorities.
  • Produce strategic deliverables including white papers, executive briefings, business cases, and return on investment analyses.
  • Track and report on digital adoption metrics, user engagement, and platform utilization trends.
  • Research industry best practices, emerging technologies, and modernization policies to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Support governance frameworks for technology adoption including intake processes, environment management, and compliance monitoring.
  • Facilitate cross team coordination and communications to ensure alignment across development, operations, and strategy workstreams.

  • 5-10 years IT strategy experience, digital transformation, or management consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic roadmaps and executive level deliverables.
  • Familiarity with cloud first modernization, low-code/no-code platforms, and enterprise technology adoption.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in government or enterprise IT environments is highly desirable.
  • PMP, ITIL, or similar certifications preferred.
