Job Summary:
Chiquita is seeking a PMO Manager to lead the Project Management Office framework, ensuring consistent execution and providing insights across the organization. This role involves defining project structures, improving reporting practices, and driving the adoption of best practices in project management.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Define, own, and continuously evolve the PMO operating model, governance framework, and delivery standards.
โ€ข Provide portfolio level visibility into execution status, risks, dependencies, and delivery trends.
โ€ข Produce clear, actionable, executive level portfolio and performance insights.
โ€ข Promotes adoption of best practices working side by side with Managers and Team Leaders.
โ€ข Design and improve automation for task intake, tracking, and reporting.
โ€ข Continuously assess and enhance PMO practices, tools, and reporting to improve productivity and delivery outcomes.
โ€ข Act as a change agent, enabling teams to adopt better ways of working and scalable execution models.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 5+ years experience in PMO, Project Management, or Portfolio Management roles.
โ€ข Bilingual professional (English & Spanish).
โ€ข Proven experience leading or supporting large scale system and process deployments.
โ€ข Experience working with senior stakeholders and executive teams.
โ€ข Strong understanding of project governance, portfolio management, and executive level reporting.
โ€ข Solid understanding of project, program, and change management methodologies.
โ€ข Advanced familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Planner, Power Automate, Lists, Loop).
โ€ข Hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) is required; AI certification is a plus.
โ€ข Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
โ€ข Must be able to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
โ€ข Ability to work in a multicultural and distributed team environment.
โ€ข Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
โ€ข Ability to analyze priorities and handle conflicts effectively.
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
โ€ข PMO-related certification (PMI-PMOCP, PMO-CP or equivalent).
โ€ข Portfolio Management certification (PfMP, MoP or similar).
โ€ข Data / reporting certification (Power BI or equivalent).
