Roles and Responsibilities:
Our agency is seeking a dedicated IT Consultant to play a pivotal role in overseeing and advancing our project governance and project portfolio. As a senior member of our project management team, you will be instrumental in shaping project governance policies, administering our project portfolio, and gathering requirements for multiple projects.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of comprehensive project governance policies.
• Manage and administer the agency's project portfolio to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead requirements gathering and business relationship management for several projects, collaborating with stakeholders to define needs, and maintain communication with the stakeholders for the life of the project.
• Serve as a senior resource to agency project managers, offering guidance and support as needed.
• Monitor project and portfolio progress, ensuring projects stay on track and deliver timely reports to the CIO and executive leadership.
• Independently run multiple IT projects for the agency, from initiation through completion.
