Job description

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direct supervision of the Director Plant Operations and guidelines set by policy and procedure operates and maintains buildings, equipment, and systems throughout the facility. Performs operating, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance tasks to equipment including but not limited to: electrical distribution systems, emergency power generators, HVAC, pumping systems, electrical motors and motor control, plumbing, refrigeration, water treatment, Fire Alarm and suppression, Pneumatic\electronic control systems, energy management systems, and all other systems under the responsibility of the plant operations department. 

What qualifications you will need:
  • Technical school courses in related fields preferred
  •  Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years management experience in maintenance, preferably in a health care environment
  •  Experience using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing and metering equipment required

This includes women's services offering obstetrics and fertility, an emergency room, and a trauma center.
