Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE: The Facilities Manager supports the Crash Champions store and shop network by overseeing day to day facility operations, maintenance programs, vendor performance, and repair activities across multiple locations. This role is responsible for ensuring facilities are maintained in safe, clean, and operational conditions while supporting cost control, operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards. The Facilities Manager partners closely with internal departments, landlords, and third-party vendors to drive consistent facility performance and support business operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee facility maintenance operations across multiple locations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, roofing, parking lots, signage, and general building maintenance
  • Lead and support remote Facilities Field Technicians through coaching, workload management, performance oversight, and work quality review
  • Monitor vendor responsiveness, service quality, and work order completion to ensure operational standards and service expectations are met
  • Partner with Procurement to identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships, including contractor performance reviews and quality control measures
  • Review and approve repair proposals, facility related expenses, and vendor invoices while supporting budget management initiatives
  • Ensure company facilities remain safe, compliant, clean, and operational through proactive maintenance planning and timely issue resolution
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • Serve as a point of contact for landlords, local authorities, and external partners regarding facility maintenance related matters
  • Compile and maintain facility asset information and documentation to support repair, replacement, and capital planning decisions
  • Utilize ServiceChannel to manage work orders, maintain documentation, track completion status, and ensure timely updates including notes and photo records
  • Assist in training store employees and field partners on work order processes and facility procedures
  • Identify and maintain relationships with qualified contractors and service providers in difficult-to-staff or high priority markets
  • Maintain strong collaboration and communication across Operations, Procurement, Safety, Finance, and other internal departments
  • Support special projects, emergency response situations, and other ad hoc facility related initiatives as needed

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of facilities management experience in a multi-site environment
  • Previous experience managing direct reports and/or remote field-based teams
  • Strong knowledge of commercial facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and general building maintenance
  • Experience implementing preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and lease documents
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, contractor bids, and service agreements
  • Proven project management, organizational, and budget management skills
  • Experience utilizing ServiceChannel or similar facilities/work order management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and facilities management systems
  • Ability to analyze repair proposals, vendor estimates, and operational data to support decision making
  • Ability to travel as needed to support facility operations and projects
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a shop, warehouse, and office environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb as needed throughout the workday
  • Ability to safely navigate active shop environments and construction or maintenance areas
  • Ability to travel between locations as business needs require up to 10%
