We are actively seeking entry level and experienced Machine Operators to join and grow in the PPG organization. Under the supervision of an experienced trainer new Machine Operators , will learn to identify and operate CNC machinery. Upon completion of training Machine Operators will load, machine, and gauge various size metal castings according to written work instructions.

Requirements
  • Follow written work instructions
  • Load part(s) to be machined into the fixture
  • Verify parts(s) properly loaded and set in fixture
  • Enter the appropriate program number to machine part
  • Use gage to record dimensional data on appropriate form(s)
  • Determine if gage reading are within or out of tolerance
  • Identify and inspect part features
  • Follow tagging process of non-conforming (out of tolerance) parts
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum one year factory related experience
  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, follow routers, use simple math, and use basic handheld measuring tools
  • Night shift applicants must be willing to train on days then move to nights
  • Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen
  • Prior offenses must be non violent and more than 7 years old

Schedule
  • 6a-630p, 4 days per week rotating
  • 6p-630a, 4 days per week rotating
  • Weekends will be required within the rotation
  • Night shift trainees will train on day shift for a minimum of 45 days

Compensation
  • Training pay: $18.00 per hour
  • Upon successful completion of training and demonstrated assessment pay increases to $20.00 per hour

Princeton Precision Group abides by applicable export control laws including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) in accordance with the company's export control procedures. Most positions require access to ITAR/EAR-controlled information. As such, persons considered for this position must be either a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder) or otherwise classifiable as a "U.S. Person" under relevant regulations.
