You’ll be joining a long-established Portland-based aerospace manufacturer known for producing gas and oil turbine engine components used by some of the most recognizable names in the industry. With over 80 years of history and several local campuses, this is a stable, well-established production environment built for long-term careers.

As a Manufacturing Machine Operator, you'd work with injection machines to make wax molds used in aerospace manufacturing and assist with the handling of your materials, including using overhead cranes and hoists to move and stage parts throughout production. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with strong long-term potential, offering a full benefits package upon permanent hire, quarterly bonuses, and clear pathways for career advancement. Manufacturing Machine Operator Job Duties:
  • Read and follow instructions on Tech cards
  • Set up, operate, and monitor mold machine
  • Removes and cleans tooling dies after machine operations
  • Operate overhead crane hoists to move tooling kits
  • Inspect work for quality and make small repairs

Schedule:
  • Training is Day Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm
  • After training, must be open to work on day, swing, or graveyard – per business need

Manufacturing Machine Operator Requirements:
  • At least one year of machine operating experience
  • Ability to wear PPE: steel toed boots, safety glasses and hearing protection
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Proficient reading and following verbal or written instructions
  • Basic math skills
Pay: $25.14/hr
