Manufacturing Machine Operator

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00/hour

Job Summary:

The Advanced Manufacturing Machine Operator is responsible for programming and operating CNC and robotic fabrication equipment used to process structural steel components. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with technology, and is interested in learning advanced manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
  • Interest in CNC machines, robotics, automation, or manufacturing
  • Ability to read a tape measure, blueprints, and shop drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced steel fabrication environment
  • Previous experience with CNC machines, fabrication, welding, machining, or equipment operation is preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC and robotic fabrication equipment
  • Read shop drawings and production information
  • Load machine programs and verify measurements
  • Produce accurate steel components that meet quality standards
