Job description

Accuride Corporation is one of the largest and most diversified manufacturers and suppliers of commercial vehicle components in North America. The following opportunity currently exists for experienced CNC machining operators at our unionized manufacturing facility in Erie, PA.

CNC Machine Operator – Primarily responsible for production, processing and quality within the automated & manual machining department. Core knowledge required includes intermediate math and basic computer skills; technical skill requirements include prior CNC machining experience and the ability to use basic hand tools; print reading; ability to set-up equipment to product specifications; ability to use precision measuring equipment (gauges, micrometers, dial indicators); knowledge of SPC, and experience with manufacturing machining processes, including robotics and forklift operations. Other requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training is desirable; periodic overtime and off-shift work will be required.
