Job description

Job Title: Tape Operator

Location: Frazeysburg, OH 

Schedule: Mon- Thurs 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Fri 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: Starting up to $19.25/hr

Job Summary:

The Tape Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment used in the manufacturing process. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, meeting production goals, and supporting safe and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a production environment both independently and as part of a team.

Previous machine operation, manufacturing, or industrial experience is preferred.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

·       Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
·       Learn and follow work instructions, procedures, and production specifications
·       Perform machine startup, shutdown, and basic troubleshooting
·       Load and manage production materials including creels and rewind stations
·       Conduct quality inspections to ensure product standards are met
·       Utilize HMI controls and ERP systems for production tracking and data entry
·       Maintain production goals and efficiency standards
·       Follow Lock Out / Tag Out and all company safety procedures
·       Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles
·       Communicate effectively with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams
·       Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process improvements
·       Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

·       Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or industrial experience preferred
·       Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability preferred
·       Ability to read work instructions and basic production specifications
·       Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
·       Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
·       Strong attendance, communication, and teamwork skills
·       Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
·       High School Diploma or GED preferred
