Our client is a leading consumer goods company focused on producing and distributing a diverse range of food, home, and personal care products globally. They are currently seeking a Logistics Systems Administrator to support critical transportation and supply chain systems.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$33/hr - $35/hr
Position Overview:
The Logistics Systems Administrator sits at the intersection of logistics operations and systems support. This role will support the systems behind daily logistics operations, helping users troubleshoot issues, resolve workflow interruptions, support system updates, and improve overall system performance. The ideal Logistics Systems Administrator will have hands-on experience with transportation, logistics, supply chain, or ERP platforms and will be comfortable working with business users, IT teams, and system support partners to investigate issues, document solutions, and keep critical logistics workflows moving. This opportunity is ideal for a logistics or supply chain systems professional who enjoys being the go-to resource for maintaining transportation platforms and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities of the Logistics Systems Administrator:
  • Support the day-to-day operation, stability, and performance of logistics systems used across transportation and supply chain operations.
  • Troubleshoot system issues within transportation and logistics platforms, including OTM, SAP, ERP/TMS systems, and shipment visibility tools.
  • Monitor system performance, integrations, interfaces, and data flow to identify issues and support timely resolution.
  • Create, track, and follow up on system tickets, access requests, and issue escalations.
  • Partner with business users, IT teams, and external system support partners to investigate and resolve system-related issues.
  • Maintain system configurations and support process change requests as business needs evolve.
  • Collect, document, and escalate end-user issues during recurring system support meetings.
  • Support UAT testing, system releases, patches, configuration updates, and enhancement projects.
  • Assist with SAP GRC approvals, security access reviews, audit checks, and compliance-related controls.
  • Document issue resolutions, process updates, and system support procedures as needed.
  • Provide feedback and reporting related to system performance, recurring issues, and enhancement opportunities.
Required Experience/Skills for the Logistics Systems Administrator:
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting logistics, transportation, supply chain, ERP, TMS, or related business systems.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting system issues, user issues, data flow problems, or workflow interruptions.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems, ERP platforms, order management systems, or shipment visibility tools.
  • Ability to investigate issues, create tickets, document findings, and escalate to IT, vendor, or system support teams when needed.
  • Experience supporting system updates, enhancement requests, UAT testing, releases, or process improvements preferred.
  • Comfortable reviewing system data, interfaces, integrations, configurations, or access-related issues.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Logistics Systems Administrator:
  • Prior experience with OTM (Oracle Transportation Management), SAP, or similar logistics systems.
  • Experience supporting enterprise transportation and supply chain operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach to systems support.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
