    Volt is immediately hiring for Logistics Admin in Memphis, TN 38118.
    As a Logistics Admin, you will:
    Responsibilities:
  • Maintain sales orders to ensure they are updated as engineering changes are implemented.
  • Attend meetings as a representative of the team to exchange information with other departments.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and up-to-date order status to requestors via email, database tools, verbally, or other methods.
  • Report proactive order status in times of heavy backlog or longer than expected lead times.
  • Processes Internal orders, No Charge orders, and other non-standard orders and ensures timely shipment and reporting.
  • Ensure sales orders are rescheduled and shipments are processed as material becomes available.
  • Work with Customer Service Reps globally to ensure order accuracy, and timely removal of delivery blocks preventing shipment or billing blocks preventing invoicing.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, multi-task, and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties.
  • This is a full time, contract opportunity.
    The ideal candidate will have:
    Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Monitors daily backlogs of orders/deliveries shipping
  • processing non-standard orders.
  • Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets/documents in Microsoft Word/Excel.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and up-to-date order status to requestors via email, database tools, verbally, or other methods
  • High School diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) required. Some level of further education/formal training preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience in similar role
  • Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets/documents in Microsoft Word/Excel.
  • Pay range: $20.00 - $21.81 per hour.
