LOGISTICS CLERK
 M-F 5x8's + OT as needed

Position Summary

The Logistics Clerk is responsible for supporting the efficient movement of goods through administrative coordination, documentation, and system management within the supply chain. This role ensures accurate shipment processing, inventory tracking, and communication between internal teams, carriers, and customers to maintain timely and compliant deliveries.

Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving Operations
  • Prepare and process shipping, receiving, and delivery documentation
  • Generate bills of lading, packing lists, and shipment paperwork
  • Coordinate domestic and export shipments
  • Schedule pickups with carriers
  • Ensure proper labeling, sealing, and compliance
Inventory & Order Management
  • Monitor and maintain inventory records
  • Verify material availability and apply FIFO practices
  • Process delivery orders and outbound shipments
  • Track production levels for planning
  • Perform inventory reporting
Logistics Coordination
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and customers
  • Manage shipment schedules and loading times
  • Communicate shipment updates and delays
  • Support weekly logistics planning
Documentation & Systems
  • Maintain organized logistics records
  • Update shipment data in SAP systems
  • Generate reports such as late shipments and schedules

Objective of Role

To ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient flow of goods by maintaining correct records, coordinating shipment activities, and minimizing delays while supporting overall logistics operations.

The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time. This positions requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required. All qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test, as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and other qualifications as required.
