Job description

Part time evenings Mobile Patient Care Equipment 

General Summary

Performs a variety of tasks to support the system-wide mission of Logistics and Distribution including, but not limited to, issuing supplies, maintaining inventories and compiling stock records, receiving, preparing items for shipment and/or return to vendor, etc..

Qualifications
Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

Work Experience:

  • Less than 1 year Relevant experience. Required

Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

  • Moves/handles items such as, supplies, linen, mail, print products, equipment, etc..
  • Performs a variety of activities such as, receiving, storing, cleaning, issuing, counting, shipping and ordering of supplies and equipment. Complies with US Postal Service Regulations.
  • Works to meet customer expectations - right stuff, right place, right time, right condition, right quantity, right price.
  • Works in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Supports the capture and reporting of Key Performance Indicators/Measures that drive Continuous Improvement.
  • Works with managers, supervisors, technicians, warehouses, mail services, print providers, couriers.
  • Stocks vendor deliveries in designated areas.
  • Receives requests for items, selects from inventory, loads distribution vehicles and distributes to designated areas.
  • Delivers items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.
  • Inventories user storage areas and replenishes inventory or par levels.
  • Prepares routine inventory reports and maintains records of in-house and on-order supplies.
  • Supports periodic and special inventories. Participates in year-end inventories in cooperation with the Controller.
  • Investigates discrepancies and reconciles. Monitors expiration dates. Processes inventory returns.

  • Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards.
  • Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.
  • Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
  • Marks inventory articles with identification codes as needed.
  • Maintains appropriate records, reports, and files as required.
