Job description

An international plant-based food manufacturing company is seeking a Warehouse Clerk. Candidate must have a GED and experience operating a sit-down forklift with basic computer skills and great communication skills.

 

  • $19 /hr. plus full benefits
  • Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 06:00 p.m.
  • Somerset, NJ
  • Must have sit-down forklift experience

Requirements of the Warehouse Clerk:

  • High school diploma with sit-down forklift experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Great communication skills
  • Overtime may be required (Occasional holiday work required for inventory counting)

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Clerk:

  • Track inventory and report issues or damages.
  • Update inventory records in NetSuite.
  • Help with inventory counts.
  • Manage warehouse supplies and invoices.
  • Track inventory transfers.
  • Keep shipping and truck records up to date.
  • Schedule equipment maintenance and keep records.
  • Assist with loading and unloading.
  • Manage picking tickets and work schedules.
  • Report safety concerns to management.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Employment Type: Direct Hire
