Position: Shipping Logistics Clerk – 1st Shift

Location: GEDIA Georgia

GEDIA Georgia is a leading automotive supplier specializing in high-quality stamped and welded components. As part of the global GEDIA Automotive Group, we are committed to operational excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement in everything we do.

We are currently seeking a Shipping Logistics Clerk (1st Shift) to support daily logistics operations and ensure accurate, timely material flow within our manufacturing facility.

Position Summary

The Shipping Logistics Clerk plays a key role in supporting warehouse and logistics operations by ensuring accurate receiving, inventory control, and system transactions. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and working knowledge of SAP and manufacturing logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process receiving documentation in SAP
  • Receive incoming materials by verifying quantities and documentation against purchase orders
  • Print and distribute required receiving and shipping paperwork to internal teams and customers
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support daily inventory verification activities
  • Support shipping and receiving transactions, production orders, and logistics-related SAP functions
  • Actively participate in annual and cycle physical inventories, including organizing, counting, system entry, and verification
  • Communicate clearly with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth information flow
  • Maintain organized documentation and comply with company logistics procedures
  • Cross-train within the logistics team and assist with additional tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer systems
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
  • Understanding of logistics, production, purchasing, and inventory processes
  • Ability to verify inventory accuracy and understand end-to-end product flow
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience performing physical inventories in a manufacturing setting
  • Automotive or automotive supplier industry experience
