At-a-Glance:
Are you ready to build your career by joining a largest producer of thermoplastic resins and polypropylene? If so, our client is hiring a Supply Chain Admin.
 
Position Type:

  • Contract
  • Remote – Local to Philadelphia, PA

Required:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in invoice review and processing.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in use of financial systems (ie. SAP) to record and process transactions.
  • Strong time management skills, problem solving capabilities and organization management.
  • High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with invoice processing preferred 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and processing invoices that includes receipt, verification, and processing of invoices.
  • Responsibilities include invoice detail validation, ensuring timely payments and addressing discrepancies and queries related to invoices.
  • Logistics invoice review and processing for several logistics categories including invoices for warehouse, import/export operations, export truck, broker and FedEX.
  • Rail invoice support as well. Additional categories may be added over time. Logistics knowledge necessary and SAP experience is beneficial.
  • Logistics Invoice Review & Processing:
    • Access vendor invoices through a Deployment mailbox.
    • Review vendor invoices for accuracy – comparing actual invoice components to rate sheets/contract line items provided by Logistics.
    • Handle discrepancies through disputes with vendor contacts listed on invoices.
    • If approved for payment – create SAP SES and forward on to SES Central (Brazil) for processing.
  • Railroad Invoicing Payment Systems:
    • Assist Rail Freights Payable Analyst with Rail Freight Matching (RFM) system.
    • Review daily the Active Match RFM and process records outstanding.
      • Check rail rates for accuracy
        • If not send email to Logistics Analyst and dispute on rail website.
        • If approved by Logistics Analyst, process record in RFM.
        • Periodic follow-up with rail partners until disputes are resolved and paid.
      • Unmatched EDI 410 Review for BNSF Railroad Rule 11 invoices
        • Check rail rates for accuracy.
        • If accurate, process the record in Transportation Production system.
        • Then process in Unmatched 410's in RFM.
      • Access website and process any invoices due, check for duplicate payments.
  • Dispute incorrect invoices on UP website
