Summary:

The Line Cook is in charge of preparing food and setting up other necessary supplies. They will prepare the kitchen to ensure smooth operations while in service.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food with quality standards
  • Report emergencies, accidents, injuries, and safety hazards to management
  • Report any deviation of policies and procedures to management
  • Know the hotel grounds and services to assist guests as needed
  • Impress guests with quality and timely service
  • Monitor and control maintenance/sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
  • Use a variety of cooking methods
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with appropriate recipes
  • Use supplies and equipment safely and responsibly
  • Have a positive attitude with visitors and staff
