Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, located at 3752 Broadway in Grove City, is seeking a Library Coordinator for the 2026/2027 school year.
Summary:
The Library Coordinator will be responsible for being present in the library to assist students in their needs of book selection and research.
Reports to the Principal.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Use appropriate library resources; Follett or other library management systems.
  • Familiarize and encourage students to use library resources including a system for researching books.
  • Recruiting and scheduling volunteers for the library.
  • Working cooperatively with classroom teachers and their aides to facilitate student research and projects.
  • Select, review, circulate, update collections, and take out of date books out of circulation.
  • Work with all classrooms, K-8, to schedule them regularly/weekly for the library.
  • Provide library lessons to students on a fully utilizing the library
  • Invite preschool classes for special days or library tours.
  • Work with the school bookkeeper regarding orders. Communicate needs to and orders according to the budget given.
  • Assist in preparing requested collections from teachers.
  • Making the library available for students throughout the day.
  • Encourage students and teachers to fully access the library and the resources that it has to offer.
  • Attend scheduled Diocesan library meetings.
  • Leads the book fairs for the students.
  • Other duties as needed per the Principal request.

Requirements:
  • Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
  • Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
