Job description

Filevine is a Legal AI company delivering Legal Operating Intelligence for the future of legal work. Grounded in a singular system of truth, Filevine brings together data, documents, workflows, and teams into one unified platform—where modern legal work happens with clarity and consistency.

Powered by LOIS, the Legal Operating Intelligence System, Filevine connects context across every matter to transform legal operations from reactive to proactive. LOIS reads, understands, and reasons across your data to surface insight, automate complexity, and give professionals the clarity and confidence to see more, know more, and do more. Fueled by a team of exceptional collaborators and innovators, Filevine’s rapid growth has earned AI awards and recognition from Deloitte and Inc. as one of the most innovative and fastest-growing technology companies in the country.

Role Summary

As a Federal Legal Vertical Account Executive, you will drive the adoption of Filevine's AI-native case management platform across the federal legal community — the U.S. Attorney's Offices, the U.S. Trustee Program (DOJ EOUST), and the agency legal and litigation offices whose work runs on case management. You will own the full sales cycle as a quota-carrying individual contributor, leveraging deep federal expertise and consultative selling to grow revenue while becoming a trusted partner to your customers. In collaboration with Sales Engineering, Proposal, and GTM, you will help refine Filevine's approach to this market while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance. We are building a small, elite team to attack this market, and this role is at the center of it.

Responsibilities
  • Drive new business and revenue growth within federal legal and litigation offices owning the full sales cycle from initial outreach through deployment.

  • Navigate the unique requirements of federal procurement including FAR compliance, security standards, and agency-specific regulations.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across these offices, becoming a trusted advisor on AI-native case management and its implementation.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with agency missions and modernization initiatives.

  • Coordinate closely with system integrators to ensure successful deployment and integration.

  • Provide detailed market intelligence and customer feedback to product teams to ensure Filevine's offering meets the legal vertical's requirements.

  • Create and maintain account strategies and playbooks specific to legal-vertical use cases and federal procurement processes.

  • Accurately forecast quarterly and annual performance track progress against annual revenue targets, and manage your pipeline with rigor in Salesforce.

  • Take a leadership role in growing Filevine's presence across the federal legal vertical while maintaining hands‑on engagement with your key accounts.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record of driving adoption of emerging technologies.

  • A consistent, demonstrable record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets and quota.

  • The ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on execution — a conceptual thinker who also does the work.

  • Excellent relationship and trust building skills across multiple stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinking combined with relentless attention to detail in execution.

  • Preferred experience navigating complex procurement processes, compliance requirements, and civilian contracting vehicles and procurement mechanisms.
