Summary
OCALI is a recognized global leader in creating and connecting resources and relationships to ensure that people with disabilities have the opportunity to live their best lives for their whole lives. OCALI inspires change and promotes access to opportunities for people with disabilities. OCALI informs public policy and develops and deploys practices grounded in linking research to real life. We are seeking a Program Manager for the Center for the Young Child's Early Childhood Center of Excellence. OCALI offers a competitive salary, benefits, and retirement package.
In partnership with the CYC Program Director, this position will lead the work of the Early Childhood Center of Excellence team. Daily requirements will vary widely, including the management of personnel, deadlines and workflow, coordinating ordering and dissemination of materials and equipment, scheduling meetings and appointments, drafting reports and other documents, coordinating communication and collaboration within OCALI and with outside partners, and tracking the status of deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three or more years of experience in project coordination
- Experience in coordinating teams and clients smoothly and efficiently
- Proven ability to perform tasks independently and in a team setting, working with diverse people and projects
- Demonstrates accuracy, proficiency, and responsiveness with written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize between multiple and changing daily tasks, while effectively managing short, mid- and long-term projects and meeting deadlines
- Mindset to approach situations and challenges with flexibility and positivity
- Experience and proficiency with technology applications (including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, etc.), Mac-based operating systems, project management systems, and online environments

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
'The following duties are representative of performance expectations; however, the list below is not ranked in order of importance.
- Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with the timeline and deliverables requirements
- Effectively manage Center of Excellence deliverables independently and collaboratively with the Program Director and the Center for the Young Child team members
- Provide direct supervision to staff members, including recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and ongoing support
- Use reflective supervision techniques to foster professional growth, identify strengths, and support continuous improvement
- Delegate responsibilities, manage workload distribution, and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines
- Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team culture that supports innovation, accountability, and well-being
- Monitor staff performance through check-ins, goal setting, and regular evaluations
- Maintain accurate records of supervision meetings, performance reviews, and staff development activities.
- Design, document, and refine internal processes, tools, and workflows to support team efficiency, consistency, and knowledge sharing across projects and personnel
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget
- Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results
- Oversee the management, distribution, and tracking of accessible materials and equipment
- Work collaboratively across and within the Center for the Young Child, OCALI IST, and MarCom teams to deliver on project marketing and stakeholder communication
- Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to ensure timely dissemination of project updates, promotional materials, and stakeholder communications
- Develop and maintain a project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones
- Review, facilitate, and analyze data from professional development, including webinars and training content, in collaboration with internal and external partners
- Serve as a point of communication between internal team members and external resources and stakeholders
- Deepen collaboration with external partners, including cross-sector early childhood professionals, state leaders, and family members by participating in meetings, community events, conferences, and other opportunities
- Track, document, and communicate proactively on the status of projects; Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, escalate issues and risks, and problem-solve potential solutions
- Support organizational commitment to develop accessible materials and provide an accessible environment and experiences for our staff and partners
- Other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time
