Talent Insights Consultant

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will reside within a commuting distance from our Indianapolis, IN PulsePoint.

TheTalent Insights Consultantwill be responsible for advancing the workforce analytics strategy using advanced levels of evaluation techniques and sophisticated analytics.

How you will make an impact:

  • Provides expert consultation and recommendations for leveraging data to improve business performance for complex and varied organizations.
  • Performs data mining, analytics, data interpretation and statistical modeling to drive improved workforce outcomes.
  • Develops data mining techniques, reports, statistical methodologies, predictive models and analytical capabilities using structured and unstructured data.
  • Connects program and process data to performance outcomes, develops advanced dashboards, scorecards, metrics and indices reflective of learning, workforce and business objectives.
  • Interprets and explains the implications of data on performance and the business and provides expert recommendations for action to drive individual and organizational performance improvement.
  • Trains and promotes use of dashboards and other interactive analytical reporting tools.
  • Develops and articulates study findings to key stakeholders and varied audiences, and crafts actionable recommendations to improve business outcomes.
  • Consults with Human Resources, Learning & Development and the Business to evaluate needs, formulate the analytics plan, select appropriate data elements and metrics, determines and conducts data sourcing and extraction techniques, identifies and reports data trends, correlations and causations, conducts statistical modeling and analysis, and advises end-users regarding interpretation and best use of information to optimize workforce outcomes to drive individual and organizational performance improvement.
  • Provides data analysis and technical coaching to Talent Insights team members based on expertise.

Minimum Requirements:Requires BA/BS in business or math related field and a minimum of 8 years of data collection and analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • MS preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including developing PivotTables, performing lookup functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), and utilizing formulas to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience creating clear, compelling data visualizations and translating complex analyses into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences, including presenting findings to stakeholders and using data storytelling to explain trends, drivers, and recommendations.
  • Tableau experience preferred.
  • Power BI experience preferred.
  • Workday experience preferred.
  • ServiceNow experience preferred.
  • Moveworks experience preferred.
