As a Preschool Teacher, you will:

Do You Have:
  • A genuine passion for the education and care of children and babies?
  • Atleast 2+ years of professional teaching experience in a childcare facility and caring for infants and/or babies (required)? 3-4 years of experience with babies, is preferred.
  • CPR and first aid certification?
  • Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirement?
    • CDA Credential: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential from the Council for Professional Recognition is a common requirement.
    • Associate's Degree: An Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is another option.
    • Technical Certificates/Diplomas: A Technical College Diploma (TCD) or Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development also meets the requirement.
    • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree, especially in Early Childhood Education, is another acceptable qualification.
    • Other Credentials: In some cases, 25 quarter hours or 15 semester hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development may be accepted.
