Job description

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented eLearning Specialist to design and develop engaging, high-impact digital learning experiences. This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating complex technical concepts into clear, learner-friendly content and is passionate about creating scalable training solutions in a fast-paced tech environment.
You will partner closely with cross-functional teams-including Product, Customer Success, Product Implementation, and Subject Matter Experts-to build learning experiences that support product adoption, user onboarding, and ongoing enablement.
Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Design & Content Development
  • Design and develop engaging eLearning experiences using adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (i.e., ADDIE, SAM)
  • Create detailed storyboards, scripts, and learning objectives aligned to business goals
  • Build interactive courses using course authoring tools
  • Design assessments, knowledge checks, and scenario-based learning activities to reinforce learning
  • Assist with instructional documentation

Content Translation & SME Collaboration
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and structure technical content
  • Translate complex product features, workflows, and concepts into clear, effective learning materials
  • Lead content review cycles and incorporate stakeholder feedback

Product & Customer Education
  • Develop training content (eLearning and documentation) to support software product adoption, onboarding, and feature releases
  • Create role-based learning paths and scalable learning programs for end users or customers
  • Align training materials with product updates and evolving business needs

Learning Experience & Engagement
  • Apply user experience (UX) and visual design principles to enhance learner engagement
  • Incorporate multimedia elements such as video, audio, and interactive simulations
  • Ensure all learning content meets accessibility standards (i.e., WCAG) and quality benchmarks

Continuous Improvement
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions through feedback and performance data
  • Update and maintain course content to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Conduct periodic content audits and recommend enhancements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2-5+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, instructional documentation and/or a related field
  • Experience with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
  • Proven experience developing eLearning using course authoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging content
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Self-starter with ability to navigate ambiguity

Nice to Have:
  • Experience in a SaaS or technology environment
  • Experience with multimedia tools (i.e., Techsmith Camtasia and Audiate, IORAD, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Experience working in LMS platforms and content publishing
