Title: Hybrid Technical Recruiter
Location: West Columbia, SC/Orangeburg, SC
Shift: 8:30a till 5:30p with flexibility
Hybrid Schedule: 1-2 Days Onsite in Orangeburg | 3-4 days WFH | West Columbia as Needed
Pay Rate: $24/hr plus commission

Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Technical Recruiter to lead high-volume recruiting efforts for engineering, manufacturing, skilled trades, and industrial positions while serving as a trusted partner to our client. This hybrid role combines remote recruiting with regular onsite support to maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and employees. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced staffing environment, excels at managing multiple requisitions simultaneously, and is passionate about delivering quality talent quickly
Key Responsibilities
High-Volume Technical Recruiting
  • Manage a high-volume requisition load for engineering, manufacturing, skilled trades, and technical positions.
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
  • Conduct phone screens and technical qualification interviews to evaluate candidate experience and fit.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and provide timely feedback throughout the hiring process.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive technical talent.
  • Drive recruiting efforts to meet aggressive hiring goals and workforce ramp-ups.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the ATS and CRM.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding.
Client Partnership & Onsite Support
  • Serve as a primary recruiting contact for assigned client locations, providing onsite support as needed.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities.
  • Support new hire onboarding, orientation, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor attendance trends, employee engagement, and retention during onboarding periods.
  • Conduct regular onsite visits to build relationships with employees and client leadership.
  • Assist with resolving employee concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Provide recruiting metrics, hiring updates, and workforce reporting to internal leadership and clients.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within staffing or agency recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, industrial, skilled trades, or other technical positions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-volume requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sourcing skills using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and networking.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office.(Avionté, Workday, Kronos, or similar)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while balancing remote recruiting with onsite client support.
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize competing hiring needs and deliver results.
