KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Certified Payroll and Construction Compliance Specialist in Lake Forrest, Ca. (Hybrid flexible)

Job Summary:ย 
  • This role manages day-to-day certified payroll and contract compliance reporting for public works construction projects.ย 
  • Responsibilities include reporting for certified payroll (CPRs), Davis-Bacon Act and California prevailing wage compliance, contract compliance documentation, safety submittals, subcontractor labor and contract compliance and monthly union hours.ย 
  • Proficiency with LCPtracker and DIR eCPR is required to ensure accurate, timely submissions and to help prevent compliance findings and penalties.ย 
  • This position report to the Vice President of Business Operations

Key Responsibilities
  • Certified Payroll Reporting (CPR): Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports through the DIR Public Works portal and LCP Tracker.
  • Subcontractor Compliance: Collect and review subcontractor payroll and compliance documentation to confirm adherence to contract and Davis-Bacon and California prevailing wage requirements.
  • Labor Compliance: Coordinate apprenticeship and labor compliance requirements (including DAS 140/142), non-performance tracking, project closeout, Section 3 reporting, safety-related compliance submittals, and Skilled and Trained Workforce requirements.
  • Stakeholder Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for client, subcontractor, and project labor/compliance representatives. Attendance at pre-conference compliance meetings if necessary

Essential Duties and Tasks:
  • Enter, validate, and maintain certified payroll records, monthly union reports, and contract compliance information.
  • Process certified payroll for prevailing wage projects using systems such as LCPtracker, DIR eCPR, eComply, OCPS, and Sage 100.
  • Administer OCIP/CCIP requirements, including subcontractor enrollment, payroll reporting, and ongoing compliance monitoring in coordination with project teams and insurance program administrators.
  • Communicate effectively across internal departments and with external clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Collect, review, and track certified payroll and related compliance documentation from subcontractors.
  • Ensure certified payroll and contract compliance submittals are delivered to awarding agencies and/or prime contractors, and distribute applicable requirements to subcontractors.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
