Description

GC America Inc. seeks a full-time Director Latin America Business based in Alsip, IL. The role will develop sales and marketing capabilities for dental products to expand into existing markers and explore new market opportunities on a country-by-country basis using Market Share Data from Key-stone company and our internal Sell-in database and out the door sales data in each country. Create LATAM region business strategy to leverage GC product quality and diversity for the purpose of increasing sales across key dental markets throughout the region. Use Voice of Customer (VoC) tools, such as SalesForce, to capture and analyze customer feedback and launch new products through collaboration with our HQ. Provide leadership for country managers, sales representatives, regulatory and educational specialists and independent promoters to align them on key product sales opportunities to dentists, dealers and government/university tenders. Use continuous process improvement and Kaizen innovation to support regional dealers on issues ranging from inventory and pricing to logistics and product use. Evaluate current marketing, and sales capabilities and develop/execute budgets and business plans that align with our corporate philosophy, growth strategy and regional performance goals. Manage team of professionals that provide critical business services around LATAM sales, marketing customer service, and education. Negotiate with and manage dental products distributors. Develop and manage annual department expense budget and P&L. Formulate and execute short-term (3-5 years) regional business plans, mid-term strategies, and new-market entry plans. Perform market analysis and business opportunity assessment, including multi-dimensional analysis by product, geographic area, and dealer, to identify and prioritize key growth opportunities, using Business Objects and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Participate in regulatory compliance activities related to the job function, including quality audits, adverse event reporting for company products, and adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) for reporting and record keeping.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field and five years of related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience in a sales or business management occupation.ย 


Must also have 36 months of experience with each of the following:ย 

(1) Sales and business development in the dental devices or health care products industry with P&L responsibility.

(2) Using continuous process improvement and Kaizen Innovation.

(3) Performing market analysis and business opportunity assessment, including multi-dimensional analysis by product, geographic area, and dealer, to identify and prioritize key growth opportunities, using Business Objects and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

(4) Formulating and executing short-term (3-5 years) regional business plans, mid-term strategies, and new-market entry plans.

(5) Negotiating with and managing dental or health care products distributors.ย 


Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.ย 


TRAVEL: International travel required up to 25% of the time per year.
