Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities for the Seminole Tribe of Florida Inc (STOFI). In collaboration with STOFI Board and Executives, the Business Development Director is responsible for the financial analysis, operational evaluation, best practice implementation, marketing analysis and strategy, partnership development, sales assistance and performance management during the initial phase of business development. The individual assist with activities related to partnership and business development. This position requires a self-motivated and results oriented individual. A Master's degree in Finance, Business Development, Business Management, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a leadership role in Business Development within organizations generating over $50 million in annual revenue. A track record of success in business ventures and demonstrated sales achievements is essential. Strong knowledge and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, ROI assessments, purchasing management, and contract review are required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate proficiency in computer and software applications, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills are also essential. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
