Job description

Position Overview

Responsible for organizing the label room and keeping label information current for all box labeling.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

__________________________________________________________________________________


  • Maintain label information in Label Information Databases.


  • Create or modify label formats as needed.


  • Perform quality control and stock all labels when delivered from the suppliers.


  • Calculate freight and receipt all label PO’s in Chempax after being approved.


  • Print thermo-transfer labels as needed for production departments.


  • Assist employees with finding boxes and/or labels.


  • Keep the label room neat and organized.


  • Calculate the correct quantity and restock labels to the proper place when they are returned to the label room from production.


  • Count labels when required and on scheduled inventory days.


  • Perform location transfers for unlabeled products produced in aerosol. Sheets containing the Product number, Lot number, Quantity, and Location will be provided by the aerosol stager.


  • Keep GHS and non-GHS labels separate.


  • Perform any other duties or projects which may be assigned by the supervisor.




Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience working in a production environment is preferred.


Physical Requirement

__________________________________________________________________________________

Must have the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods, sometimes with heavy loads. Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environments. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds.
