Position Summary:
The Label Coordinator is responsible for printing labels for all shop orders. In addition, the employee will perform other inventory control related functions.
Responsibilities:
The following duties are considered essential to this position. Other responsibilities may be assigned.
  • Print labels for manufacturing shop orders.
  • Perform cycle counts on completed jobs.
  • Run daily reports as required.
  • Check bar code signage to ensure they can be scanned.
  • Support and comply with all Suncast safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping methods at all times. Suncast policies have been developed to ensure compliance with employee law.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED or equivalent. College course work or experience in MS Word, Excel and Access is a strong plus. Bi-lingual in Spanish/English a plus.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • The employee must be familiar with PC use, navigation, and printing. The employee must have experience working with Excel create new workbooks, create graphs, and use functions. AS400 use training or experience is a strong plus.

While performing these duties, the employee will spend part of his or her time in a manufacturing environment, part of the time in a warehouse environment, and part of the time in an office environment. Manufacturing and warehouse areas are subject to seasonal variations in temperature and humidity. Noise level is generally moderate for manufacturing. Typically, offices are climate controlled and have a moderate noise level for an office. Safety equipment is required when in manufacturing and warehouse areas.
The Anticipated Pay Range for This Position: $19.00-$20.00 hourly
