ABOUT ARKADE Arkade is the independent dance music label founded by Kaskade in 2014, created as both a home for his own releases and a platform to champion emerging talent in electronic music. The label focuses on forward‐thinking dance records and artist development, working with a curated roster of collaborators and producers across the global electronic music community. ABOUT BLK MATTER BLK Matter is a Toronto‐based artist management company supporting the careers of forward‐thinking musicians and creatives, including Kaskade, John Summit, Alec Monopoly, Bynon, Skilah, and more.

We work closely with our artists on everything from day‐to‐day logistics to long‐term planning, staying hands‐on throughout every stage of their journey. Our team values adaptability, curiosity, and creative problem‐solving. OVERVIEW This is a full‐time Label Manager role working across Arkade and the wider BLK Matter roster.

The position will help lead releases from early planning through launch and beyond, coordinating everything from timelines and delivery to campaign execution, cross‐functional communication, and release performance. We're looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and deeply engaged with dance music culture and release strategy. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple projects at once, communicating across a wide range of partners and stakeholders, and helping keep campaigns moving forward in a thoughtful and detail‐oriented way.

This role sits at the intersection of operations, marketing, and artist development, and is best suited for someone who enjoys both the strategic and executional side of bringing releases to life. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Label Operations & Rights Management Manage the full ingestion of records into the distributor, including metadata, audio files, and assets Create and maintain label copy for all Arkade releases Manage release and catalog administration across royalty, rights management, and metadata systems Manage relationships with artists, managers, and external partners across the Arkade roster Support contract negotiations and deal management in coordination with label leadership Campaign Ownership & Execution Build and manage release timelines across all Arkade and BLK Matter projects Track deliverables and ensure releases stay on schedule from start to finish Coordinate across internal teams and external partners to keep campaigns aligned Oversee digital marketing performance and partner activity throughout each campaign cycle Reporting & Optimization Lead post‐release reporting and performance analysis across Arkade and client releasesTrack what is working across campaigns and identify opportunities to optimize future releases Provide clear, consistent visibility into campaign performance and ROI for internal stakeholders Central Point of Accountability Own the full execution layer of every release – from label setup through post‐release reporting Flag risks, gaps, and blockers early and drive resolution across teams Ensure strategy is effectively translated into execution at every stage of a release QUALIFICATIONS 3‐5 years of experience in label management, artist management, or music marketing Experience coordinating digital releases through distribution and delivery platforms Familiarity with label operations including metadata management, rights administration, royalty systems, and release setup workflows Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent release cycles Proven experience building and owning campaign timelines with cross‐functional stakeholders Comfortable analyzing campaign performance data and communicating insights clearly Proficient in Google Workspace and project management tools (Notion, Asana, or similar) Excellent communication and follow‐through (you close loops, flag early, and move things forward) Genuine passion for music; familiarity with electronic or dance music is a strong asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
