Growve is a leading health and wellness company specializing in acquiring, operating, and growing world-class brands within the active nutrition, dietary supplement, and beauty verticals. Our portfolio includes 15 brands and thousands of unique products.

Position Title: Label Finishing Operator

Position Overview:

The Finishing Press Operator is responsible for operating the label finishing press to produce quality matched, finished products. S/he will maintain the safety, quality, and maintenance of the equipment and ensure good manufacturing practices. The
ideal candidate should have deep familiarity with finishing press operations, substrates,
inks, and finishing processes. The ability to operate large format printers and finishing is a plus. This role reports to the General Manager.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Perform the setup and operation of the finishing press.
  • Ensure the press room is stocked with needed supplies, i.e., ink, film, stock, etc.
  • Maintain and clean press before and after each shift.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of problems during machine operation.
  • Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out.
  • Ensure all safety devices and guards are fully operational and that safety procedures
    are being observed.
  • Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks
    on output.
  • Record all production performance, counts, downtime and other quality or
    production related information as required.
  • Meet specified production performance targets.
  • Participate in production process improvement efforts.
  • Visually inspect products for quality checks, registration, ink coverage, and
    numbering sequence.
  • Perform calibrations and maintain consistent output of color, finish and registration.
  • Assist in QC, Shipping and Delivery when needed to maintain a proper lead time for
    all products.
  • Label rewinding as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related print/press experience
  • This position requires an individual who is technically and mechanically oriented with strong computer skills with file-to-print process
  • Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity
  • Take personal responsibility for productivity, quality and timeliness of work
  • Effectively communicate (and listen) clearly, professionally, politely and persuasively in all situations; respond well and in a reasonable, timely manner
  • Challenge conventional practices and use creativity and information to lead, innovate, problem solve, and implement ideas to contribute to the growth of the organization
  • Support and meet company/department goals and core values
  • Collaborate with co-workers to achieve common goals

Education and Experience:

  • High School graduate, or completion of GED required

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Production and Warehouse environment
  • Extensive computer/keyboarding work as well as other office equipment.
