Overview:

Public Label is seeking a Market Manager to lead field execution across the MD, DC & VA markets within the Moët Hennessy national field program. This role manages premium event activations, staffing coordination, logistics alignment, and market-level operational excellence.


This position requires a strong in-market presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to incremental and ad hoc activation requests. The Market Manager will ensure flawless execution of brand standards, maintain strong relationships with internal partners, and represent Public Label professionally in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

Field Execution & Market Management
  • Execute and oversee all scheduled sampling events, brand activations, and experiential programming within the MD, DC & VA markets.
  • Manage staffing, asset readiness, product availability, and compliance for all events.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to brand standards, legal requirements, and sampling protocols.
  • Troubleshoot in-market issues and provide proactive solutions.
  • Ensure compliance requirements (permits, certifications, training) are met for all events.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of MD, DC & VA on-premise and off-premise environments, including local market nuances.

Client & Cross-Functional Communication

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for Moët Hennessy market stakeholders.
  • Lead all client communications and calls
  • Provide client with weekly reporting and insights
  • Main a strong understanding of market performance across all program KPIs
  • Collaborate with the Field Execution Manager, logistics, EMI, recruitment, and account teams.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and visibility given client HQ proximity.
  • Provide timely communication of risks, escalations, and market updates.

Logistics Coordination

  • Partner with local logistics team members and/or vendors to ensure timely delivery, routing, and retrieval of assets, POS materials, product, and equipment for all scheduled activations.
  • Communicate logistics needs proactively to prevent delays and disruptions.
  • Ensure all logistical partners understand activation requirements, timelines, and compliance standards for premium programs.

Staffing & Brand Ambassador Oversight

  • Partner with Recruitment to identify, onboard, and train local brand ambassadors to ensure strong field execution in assigned markets.
  • Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure full coverage for all activations.
  • Ensure brand ambassadors understand activation requirements, sampling protocols, compliance expectations, and reporting standards.
  • Monitor brand ambassador performance in-market and escalate any quality, compliance, or behavioral concerns.
  • Ensure timely submission of recaps, photos, and required documentation from brand ambassadors.
  • Support staffing-related administrative tasks, including reconciliation of staffing hours, event claims, and reimbursement submissions.
Incremental & Ad Hoc Event Support
  • Support all incremental and ad hoc activation requests within assigned markets, including staffing, logistics coordination, and event readiness.
  • Communicate timing, feasibility, and any required adjustments to internal counterparts.
  • Ensure incremental activations meet brand standards and are reported accurately.
Market Planning & Allocation Support
  • Support allocation pacing and event scheduling.
  • Track activation volume, identify shifts in demand, and flag risks to counterparts.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and tracking for all completed events.
Cross-Functional Communication & Alignment
  • Support integrated communication across the account team, EMI operations, and production/logistics teams.
  • Keep internal partners informed on operational needs, event outcomes, and market activity.
  • Assist with onboarding and development of brand ambassadors as needed.

  • 3-5 years of experience in leading experiential marketing, event execution, or brand activation, ideally managing single or mid-volume markets.
  • Strong understanding of event execution in on-premise and off-premise environments, including sampling protocols and compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of MD, DC & VA on-premise and off-premise environments.
  • Experience coordinating brand ambassador staffing, event readiness, and day-of execution.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the ability to manage several events and timelines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable with client visibility.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Zoom, and Slack.
  • Comfort working independently while following established processes and guidelines.
  • Ability to escalate issues quickly and provide clear solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Physical & Travel Requirements
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and a professional workspace.
  • Comfortable operating in a virtual-first environment while managing a high-visibility market.
  • Up to 30% in-market presence in the MD, DC or VA areas (activations, trainings, and incremental events).
  • Ability to lift and transport event materials (up to 50 lbs) as needed for market support.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends based activation schedules.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during activations or market visits, when required.
