Position Overview:ย 

As a Kitchen Manager, you will be in charge of training and development of our BOH teams while maintaining our standards with regards to food safety and quality. You will be a mentor, coach, and leader that our BOH teams will want to emulate. We see the Kitchen Manager as an absolutely vital role in our continued success and growth as a company


Kitchen Manager Duties and Responsibilities:ย 

  • In charge of day to day operations in the back of house
  • Recruiting and hiring for current and future staffing needs
  • Train existing crew and new hires to become confident in their ability to deliver the PURALIMA standard
  • Identify and develop future leaders
  • Challenge your team to become better every day
  • Create and maintain a culture where teammates have the opportunity to learn and growย 
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and well stocked
  • Equipment is properly maintained and in good condition
  • Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order
  • Monitor COGS, food waste, inventory levels, and resolving any food quality or safety issue
  • Clear understanding of operating procedures, recipes, and restaurant handbook
  • Effectively communicate changes to restaurant team including changes to menu, policies, and team member benefits
  • Live and represent the PURALIMA brand day in and out
