Assistant Kitchen Manager | The Copperfield
The Copperfield is a modern neighborhood restaurant featuring an upscale diner and bar serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with a grab-and-go market. Our menu blends comfort food favorites with fresh, locally sourced ingredients in a welcoming atmosphere where exceptional food and genuine hospitality come together.
We're looking for an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to partner with our Kitchen Manager in leading daily back-of-house operations for one of our south metro locations. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated culinary leader who enjoys developing teams, maintaining high food quality standards, and creating an organized, efficient kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager with the day-to-day management of kitchen operations.
  • Lead, coach, and support back-of-house team members to ensure exceptional food quality and service.
  • Help manage scheduling, inventory, ordering, and food cost controls.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while promoting a positive, team-focused culture.
  • Assist with hiring, training, onboarding, and developing kitchen staff.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of kitchen leadership experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Sous Chef, Assistant Kitchen Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
