Junior Project Manager – Healthcare Software & Enablement

Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Schedule: Monday–Friday Hybrid | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

The Junior Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of healthcare technology and software development initiatives. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Clinical, and Operations teams, this role helps manage project timelines, communications, documentation, and implementation activities within a hybrid Agile and traditional project management environment.


Key Responsibilities


Project Coordination

  • Coordinate project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, action items, and status reports.
  • Support multiple concurrent projects while monitoring timelines and priorities.

Agile Delivery Support

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Data teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Track project progress using Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar project management tools.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Coordinate communication between technical, operational, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and provide project updates to leadership.
  • Escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies as needed.

Software Implementation & Enablement

  • Support implementation of healthcare applications, workflows, and technology initiatives.
  • Coordinate user training, adoption, and change management activities.
  • Gather user feedback and communicate enhancement opportunities to Product and Development teams.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare dashboards, project metrics, and leadership reports.
  • Assist with resource planning, capacity tracking, and project governance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and team collaboration.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of project coordination, project management, software implementation, or operations experience.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and software development environments.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Asana, or Microsoft Planner.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, digital health, or healthcare technology.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working with Product, Engineering, Data, or Clinical Operations teams.
  • CAPM, Scrum Master (CSM), or interest in pursuing project management certifications.
  • Familiarity with reporting dashboards and project metrics.
