Join Staples' Finance Analytics team and play a critical role in shaping datadriven business decisions. As a Senior Analyst II, you'll analyze complex financial data, influence strategic initiatives, and partner closely with business leaders to drive profitability and longterm growth.

What you'll be doing:

Conduct indepth financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions and strategies

Prepare and present detailed financial reports, trends, and forecasts for senior leadership

Partner crossfunctionally to gather, validate, and analyze financial data

Develop and maintain dashboards and models tracking key performance indicators

Identify financial risks and provide actionable recommendations

Support budgeting and forecasting processes aligned with organizational goals

Perform scenario analysis to inform planning and investment decisions

Participate in enterprise and special projects requiring advanced analytics

What you bring to the table:

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail

Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights

Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

What's needed - Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of progressively complex experience in financial analysis or related field

Experience with financial planning and analysis systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion)

Experience using SQL and/or data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling

Experience analyzing large and complex financial data sets

Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles

What's needed - Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Finance or related field

Experience mentoring or guiding junior analysts

Exposure to predictive analytics or machine learning tools
