Job description

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Business Process Analyst that will examine testing processes and workflows to find out how they can be improved or automated. They also help in facilitating process workshops and document any information elicited using process maps and business requirements documents. They also serve as intermediaries between decision makers and management teams to keep track of testing performance, conduct process mapping and identify internal inefficiencies.
Responsibilities:
  • Reports to a manager or head of a unit/department on a weekly basis.
  • Management of processes and workflows for their team or area of responsibility.
  • Work to improve efficiency with team processes
  • Provide reports and presentations as requested by the government lead
  • Contribute to team discussions and recommend improvements.
  • Guides and supports junior level personnel
  • Conduct root cause problem analysis and develop technical solutions to problems

Key Technologies:
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Jira, Miro, Collaboration tools
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Understanding services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, Kubernetes Services)
  • DevSecOps & Automation
  • Understanding of GitLab CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) and Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Agile, DevSecOps, & Development Lifecycle Tools
  • SonarQube, Nexus, etc. for code and dependency scanning

Required Qualifications:
  • An active TS/SCI clearance (eligible for CI Poly)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or Business, or other related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 4-7 years of experience
  • Ability to develop and use more complex concepts and processes
  • Individuals must have at least some experience with testing processes and a deep knowledge of process management during tech rollouts.
  • Works generally independent and collaborative in nature

Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of secure coding best practices and compliance standards (NIST, FedRAMP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Agile certification
  • Experience with modern software development practices
  • Experience with navigating organizational security processes.
  • Experience developing and delivering contract deliverables
