Position Summary

The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving growth and profitability of company brands within assigned key accounts through the execution of strategic commercial plans aligned with sales and investment objectives. This role focuses on strengthening key customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering sustainable business results.

The position ensures consistent execution of commercial and promotional strategies, supports achievement of sales targets, and optimizes pricing and investment decisions based on market dynamics and competitive positioning. The Key Account Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of negotiated agreements at the operational level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial relationships with key accounts to ensure growth and profitability.
  • Identify and develop growth opportunities with new clients, channels, or regions.
  • Achieve sales objectives within assigned budget and targets.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, and product displays according to company guidelines.
  • Analyze sales performance, margins, and product portfolio results.
  • Coordinate execution of commercial plans with Sales, Logistics, and Trade Marketing teams.
  • Monitor key indicators such as returns, inventory levels, and product rotation.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure compliance with commercial agreements.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and business opportunity analyses.
  • Travel up to 40% of the time to visit key account clients.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in key account management, corporate sales, or similar commercial roles.
  • Experience managing budgets and negotiating with strategic clients.
  • Additional training in commercial management, negotiation, or leadership is a plus.
