Key Account Manager West


West Division Management


Mission

Manage assigned key accounts, ensuring profitability, achievement of sales budgets, and effective execution of commercial and promotional strategies aligned with company objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial relationships with key accounts, ensuring growth and profitability.
  • Identify growth opportunities with new clients, channels, or regions.
  • Achieve sales objectives within the assigned budget.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, and displays according to company policies.
  • Analyze sales performance, margins, and product portfolio results.
  • Coordinate execution of commercial plans with Sales, Logistics, and Trade Marketing teams.
  • Monitor indicators such as returns, inventory levels, and product rotation.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Prepare regular performance and opportunity reports.
  • Travel up to 40% of the time to visit key account clients.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the organization.

Desirable Knowledge:Leadership and strategic relationship management. Advanced negotiation and budget management. Analytical thinking and results orientation. Strong understanding of profitability, margin, and portfolio growth indicators. Commercial planning and cross-functional coordination (Sales, Logistics, Marketing, Finance). Excellent communication, influencing, and decision-making skills.


Key Performance Indicators:Sales performance, numerical distribution, trade marketing investment, accounts receivable (A/R) turnover, and inventory turnover.


Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields. Additional training in commercial management, negotiation, or leadership is an advantage


Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience in key account management or corporate sales, with responsibility for budgeting and direct negotiation with strategic clients.


Physical Requirements:The position occasionally requires lifting and carrying objects, standing or sitting for extended periods, and kneeling. Frequent walking and physical movement are also involved.


Other:Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future. Bilingual in Spanish and English.
