We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Accounts Sales Representative to join our sales team. As a Key Accounts Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our key customers. Your primary objective will be to drive sales growth, meet revenue targets, and ensure the satisfaction and retention of our most valuable customers. The Key Accounts Sales Rep is responsible for selling WarrenCAT products/equipment/engines for manufacturing or distribution to end users and OEMS.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to manage and grow sales within the assigned key accounts portfolio.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, acting as their main point of contact for sales-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Understand the unique needs and requirements of each key account, tailoring product and service offerings to meet their specific needs.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess their performance, identify opportunities for growth, and provide solutions to enhance their business outcomes.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders; or converse with customers via phone.
  • Display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalog, emphasizing salable features.
  • Quote prices and credit terms; prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Estimate and communicate delivery date to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare reports of business transactions and maintain expense accounts.
  • Collaborate with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Collaborate with other internal departments.
  • Coordinate customer product training.
  • Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance sales performance.
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the sales manager and other stakeholders.
  • Attend trade shows.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify potential opportunities and threats.
  • Maintain product knowledge.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years sales or marketing related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in the industry or with similar products/services is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent presentation and persuasion skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations; Respond promptly to customer needs; Solicit customer feedback to improve service; Respond to requests for service and assistance; Meet commitments.
  • Ability to focus on resolving conflict, maintaining confidentiality; Listen to others, remaining open to others' ideas and tries new things.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Gather and analyze information skillfully; Develop alternative solutions; Work well in group problem solving situations; Utilize reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Moderate computer skills. Familiar with web navigation, experience working with databases.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
