Job description

The Key Accounts Sales Manager drives growth, retention, and strategic alignment with Key Accounts as well as OEMs. This role integrates commercial, technical, and operational leadership to strengthen customer relationships, ensure performance excellence, and expand market presence in engineered flexible metal tubing solutions.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Manager will have key account ownership of a defined customer list with following responsibilities:

  • Grow sales through product expansion, engineered solutions and market extension by partnering with the customer leadership team, marketing/sales, sourcing, engineering, and other key departments of the customer that impact the sales development.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and internal departments.
  • Work with commercial management team to develop and implement the company’s key accounts and OEM strategy.
  • Coordinate activities around pricing, contract renewals, performance metrics as well as quality and delivery issues to the mutual satisfaction.
  • Interface with customers to conduct regular reviews of business performance.
  • Monitor market and competitive trends to position company value effectively.
  • Develop the forecast/budget for key accounts and OEMs.
  • Work with Marketing to prospect potential OEM and contractor accounts, engaging in in lead generation activity to solicit new business.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering, business, or industrial technology (MBA preferred).
  • Credible technically and commercially so that one earns and maintains trust from engineers, procurement personnel, and other key contacts.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and self-regulating whereby one manages long-cycle, complex industrial sales processes.
  • 10- years in industrial sales or key account management. (HQ level preferred)
  • Demonstrated skills in achieving sales and budget goals.
  • Ability to effectively implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to interface and demonstrate leadership both internally and externally.
  • High-energy initiative-taker as well as collaborator.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate cross functionally within the company and the customer.
  • Demonstrated commitment to building strong business relationships with customers.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and process requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills where capturing and maintaining valuable information as well as proactively thinking through next actions and closing those actions.
  • 50% overnight travel
  • Valid Driver’s License with limited moving violations.
  • Ability lift 50 lbs.
