Job description

Summary / Position Purpose:

The IT Support Engineer is a highly trusted, in person technology partner responsible for delivering exceptional executive facing and office technology support at the North Richland Hills location. This role owns the end to end workplace technology experience for executives and office staff, ensuring systems, meetings, and workspaces operate reliably and professionally.

This position requires excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, and hands on technical capability across endpoint support, audio and video systems, touchboards, Microsoft 365, and core system administration. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, service oriented, and comfortable operating in high visibility executive environments.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities: 

Executive and White Glove Support

  • Provide high touch, in person IT support for executives and senior leaders.
  • Serve as the primary technology contact for executive laptops, peripherals, desk setups, and connectivity.
  • Communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally in time sensitive or high pressure situations.
  • Anticipate executive needs and proactively address issues before they impact productivity or meetings.

Audio, Video, Touchboards, and Conference Room Technology

  • Own support and reliability of conference rooms and collaboration spaces, including: 
    • Microsoft Teams meetings
    • Touchboards and interactive displays
    • Cameras, microphones, speakers, and conferencing systems
    • Set up, test, troubleshoot, and maintain A/V and touchboard technology.
    • Provide live, in room support for executive meetings, leadership sessions, and important events.
    • Ensure conference rooms are consistently functional, tested, and executive ready.

Endpoint and Office Hardware Support

  • Deploy, configure, and support laptops, desktops, monitors, docks, printers, and office peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, performance, and operating system issues.
  • Manage device imaging, onboarding configurations, refresh cycles, and basic asset tracking.
  • Coordinate hardware repairs, replacements, and vendor support when needed.

Networking and Office Connectivity

  • Support on site networking and office connectivity, including wired and wireless access.
  • Troubleshoot network, VPN, and connectivity issues impacting office users.
  • Partner with infrastructure and network teams on escalations, changes, and improvements.

Microsoft 365 and Systems Administration

  • Provide hands on support and administration for Microsoft 365 services including: 
    • Exchange Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • OneDrive
    • SharePoint
  • Support user identity and access administration through Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Perform onboarding, offboarding, group management, and access troubleshooting.
  • Assist with basic server and system administration tasks in coordination with infrastructure teams.
  • Support patching, system updates, and endpoint configuration standards.

Operational Excellence and Collaboration

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex, high impact, or executive visible issues.
  • Document standard procedures, common issues, and executive specific setups.
  • Collaborate closely with Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to maintain reliability and standards.
  • Provide limited after hours or on site support for critical executive or office needs when required.
  • Indirectly responsible for product quality
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, workplace technology, systems support, or related roles.
  • Proven experience providing in person support to executives or senior leaders.
  • Strong hands on experience with laptops, desktops, office hardware, touchboards and conference room A/V systems.
  • Windows operating systems and endpoint troubleshooting
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Working understanding of Active Directory or Entra ID user administration.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and office connectivity.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional presence.
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and solutions focused under pressure.
  • Willingness and ability to work fully on site in North Richland Hills, TX.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms or similar platforms.
  • Experience working in a headquarters or executive office environment.
  • PowerShell or basic automation experience.
  • Microsoft certifications.
