Entry-Level IT Support Technician

Position Overview

As an Entry-Level IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's technological infrastructure. You will work closely with our team to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain hardware and software systems. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line technical support to employees experiencing hardware, software, or network issues via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
  • Set up and troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations.
  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Document support activities, solutions, and configurations for future reference.
  • Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
