AWT has the following position open in our Minneapolis, MN location:
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, Hours are - 9-5pm. Additional days and hours may be necessary due to production requirements.
Requirements
The IT Support Analyst role will serve as a member of the overall AWT IT organization, focused primarily on supporting production and front office technologies and operations. This role will be a mid-level contributor with growth opportunities across AWT IT. This position will be responsible for level 1-3 support of all technology used across all AWT facilities. Additionally, this role will participate and contribute to IT initiatives across all AWT's business, as appropriate. This position will be on-site at an AWT facility primarily, with opportunities for remote work at times. The role will participate in IT support and projects for all AWT locations.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day IT operations support and hands-on activities in a production environment. Primary Responsibilities include PC Configuration and Deployments, User Administration, Hardware break/fix and support, Software support, end user support, and other general IT Service Desk Functions.
  • Assist in IT projects and efforts driven by AWT leadership.
  • Help implement and support IT operational best practices.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to IT leadership within overall AWT IT.
  • Take work direction from IT infrastructure leadership and Senior IT peers.
  • Work within applicable AWT IT and Security policies.

Who does the IT Support Specialist work with?
The IT Support Specialist role will work with AWT IT peers & leadership, local business leadership, and users within the AWT facilities. This role will take primary work direction from the IT Support Manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • 3-5+ years IT support experience
  • Experience working within an IT Service Organization
  • Team focused and self-motivated
  • Strong Customer Service Mindset and communication skills
  • Proficient in end-user computer technologies
  • Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and other common technologies
  • Experience supporting production manufacturing and shipping systems a plus
  • Experience supporting Windows Server Environments a plus
  • Strong in ideation and problem solving
  • Aptitude to learn, grow and stay current with technology evolution
  • Level 1-2 hands-on experience supporting LAN/WLAN technologies
  • Desire to develop future expertise in areas such as: Client Engineering, Core infrastructure (Azure AD/AD, Server engineering), IT Security, etc.

Preferred Skills
  • Microsoft technology certifications, MCA Windows, M365, and Azure
  • ITSM and end user support certifications
