POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Resource Analyst (IT RA) is responsible for planning, analyzing, and optimizing the use of IT resources, including personnel, skills, capacity, and financial allocations. This role provides recommendations to IT Management to ensure IT teams are staffed efficiently, projects are properly resourced, and technology investments align with business priorities and budget constraints.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and project managers to understand objectives, challenges, and requirements to balance workload and priorities.
  • Analyze and administer the IT timetracking system, including monitoring adoption rates, onboarding new and existing team members, proposing process improvements, and tracking utilization trends.
  • Administer IT timesheets and partner with IT departmental leaders to address resource constraints, scheduling, and workforce planning needs.
  • Analyze the IT project pipeline to forecast future staffing requirements, proactively identifying potential capacity constraints and bottlenecks to support hiring or contractor decisions.
  • Monitor IT resource utilization to assess workload balance, identifying over or underutilization and provide recommended corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain resource utilization dashboards, providing department leaders with visibility into capacity, demand, and allocation within their areas.
  • Produce and distribute weekly IT utilization reports, highlighting potential risks, constraints, and optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reporting on IT labor hours, including OpEx and CapEx allocations by project or assignment.
  • Support IT intake and pipeline management processes, ensure resource availability and allocation commitments are evaluated, confirmed, and documented.
  • Develop and present reports, proposals, and presentations to support leadership decisionmaking related to IT resource planning, governance, scenario planning, and allocation.
  • Design, implement, and optimize new tools, systems, and processes to support effective IT resource management, capacity planning, and governance as organizational needs evolve.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs
  • Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment, or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company
  • Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to conduct data analysis skills to identify trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to understand complex concepts of IT resource capacity, demand forecasting, and utilization management across both project and operational work.
  • Experience developing and maintaining dashboards, metrics, and reports related to resource utilization, capacity planning, and labor allocation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with IT leaders, project managers, and crossfunctional stakeholders.
  • High level of organizational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; experience with reporting or visualization tools preferred.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated commitment to compliance, ethics, and adherence to corporate policies and procedures.

Education/Experience:

  • 0-2 years of resource management experience in an enterprise environment required
  • 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in project management or workflow planning a plus
  • Experience in utilizing business intelligence tools a plus
