Job description

    Position Overview
    Responsible for coaching, motivating, and leading invoicing solutions employees to accomplish the productivity goals for the department. Establish a culture of positive employee engagement while ensuring all processes, best practices, and policies are adhered to consistently. Strong process-driven person needed to drive automation and improve the effective use of technology to build scalable invoicing solutions. Use management tools including SAP, Excel, and other appropriate systems to effectively manage the accurate and timely monthly invoicing process.

    Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
    Operations Management
    • Manage the daily operations to achieve timely and accurate invoicing to meet cashflow requirements and customer expectations.
    • Drive a culture of accountability through key performance metrics and employee engagement.
    People Leadership
    • Drive positive business results by building an engaged workforce. Train and mentor employees, ensure they are provided the resources to accomplish their goals and provide effective feedback.
    Information & System Management
    • Use all available data to streamline and automate the invoicing process. Develop a thorough understanding of CJL and customer contracts and utilize the systems to improve efficiency and automation of the invoicing process.
    • Perform other related job duties as assigned or required.
    Required Qualifications
    • 3+ years of supervisory experience
    • Demonstrated leadership skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Demonstrated experience driving process automation
    • Strong Excel skills required
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • SAP experience preferred
    • TMS experience preferred
    • WMS experience preferred
    • Bilingual (English/Korean) Preferred
    Physical Requirements
    This is largely a sedentary role requiring the physical ability to:
    • Sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk while working on a computer
    • Use hands and fingers to operate a keyboard, mouse, and telephone
    • Speak and hear clearly in person, virtually, and over the phone
    • Occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, or lift up to 10 pounds

    Work Environment
    This position operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and printers.
    The work environment is typically quiet to moderate in noise level and is climate controlled.
    Location/Remote Eligibility
    This is a hybrid role based out of our Des Plaines, IL office. Regular, on-site presence is required (4) days per week or as otherwise directed by the company.
    Schedule
    Flexible hours may be required to support deadlines or cross-functional collaboration.
