Interventional Radiology Tech | MemorialCare โ€“ Long Beach, CA

Location: 2801 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90806
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift

Job Overview

MemorialCare is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech to join its radiology team in Long Beach, CA. The ideal candidate must have 1+ year of experience, with first-time travelers accepted depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Perform specialized interventional radiology procedures
  • Set up equipment and maintain a sterile field
  • Interpret dysrhythmias and assist with endovascular interventions
  • Scrub, circulate, and monitor interventional procedures
  • Use Omnicell for medication management
  • Document procedures electronically
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ year in Interventional Radiology
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS
    • BLS
    • ARRT R
    • CCI RCIS
  • Electronic Documentation: Required (any system)
  • Call Requirement: Yes
  • Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend
Required Skills
  • Scrubbing and circulating procedures
  • Vascular closure systems
  • Various interventional radiology techniques, including:
    • Angioplasty, embolization, stent placement
    • Liver biopsy, thoracentesis, paracentesis
    • Inferior & superior vena cavogram
    • Endovascular interventions
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay Rate: $60.00-$65.00/hour
  • Overtime: 1.5x after 12 hours/day or 60 hours/week
  • Holiday Pay: Includes New Year's Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
