Special Procedures Interventional Radiology Tech

Location: Austin, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call requirements.

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Special Procedures Interventional Radiology Tech to join our team. The tech will be responsible for assisting in interventional radiology procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their care. Candidates should be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and managing varying patient volumes effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures including Perm Cath/Dialysis Cath, Angiogram, Embolization, Mechanical Thrombectomy, and Kyphoplasty.
  • Collaborate with a specialized team to ensure high-quality patient care and procedural success.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
  • Manage on-call responsibilities during night shifts and weekends as required.
  • Provide exceptional patient service and interaction, demonstrating friendly and compassionate care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • Experience in general and neuro interventional radiology preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
